Role and Regulation of Thromboxane A Synthase
Bio 3336 Biomolecules
Thromboxane A2 synthase also referred to as TXA or CYP5, is an enzyme in humans that metabolizes prostaglandin endoperoxide (PGH2) into Thromboxane A2. It is an effective vasoconstrictor and inducer in platelet formation. It plays a vital role in haemostasis, thrombosis and numerous other diseases including adult respiratory distress syndrome and septic shock. Platelets and macrophages are the major sources of TXA 2. The Enzyme Thromboxane A2 synthase is a biochemical that is heavily used in research today; it also plays a role in the regulation, functional expansion, and the homeostasis of different organisms

Grizzly Bears Research Paper
Bio 1307 Scientific Writing
Grizzly Bears (Ursus arctos), are one of the largest carnivores in the world. Grizzly bears are a subspecies of brown bears and today can be heavily found in North America and Canada. They are large and can reproduce like any other warm-blooded mammal. They consume both plants and animals, making them an omnivore species. Grizzly bears are a dominating force in wildlife where they are hardly preyed upon on by other animals unlike with human interactions. This paper will explore the physical characteristics, life history, ecology, social behavior, and human interactions of Grizzly Bears.
